We really liked the Westin and The Library Hotel (price for Oct weekend at Library $349 Full Bed, $459 Queen Deluxe, $559 Q/K with pullout sofa), and we are going to probably go with Club Quarters as a lower cost hotel. If you want any of the other pricing that I got for these let me know. The blocks are good at these since they don't make you pay for them if they don't book.
Hudson Hotel Q
Great, very modern, amazing bar areas, but tiny-tiny rooms and bathroom, like cruise ship size, so have to get bigger than a standard. They will block up to 20 rooms until 21 days before the event, $429 Standard, $489 Deluxe (will upgrade Bride and Groom if bigger room available).
Westin
Good bar, spacious rooms, modern decor, updated amenities, spa at location. Will block up to 15 rooms until 1 month before the event, $339 for room, $539 for Suite (don't say they will upgrade when I talked to them but when I visited the person said they typically do upgrade bride and groom).

Good bars at each but Grand Central has a great outside location in the back, nice sized room, decent decor kind of classical old world, larger rooms and more rooms types at Manhattan location but similar decor at both locations. They will block 15 rooms until 1 month before the event, Grand Central or Manhattan location same price, $409 1 Queen or 1 King, $449 2 Beds, $509 1 Bedroom suite (will upgrade Bride and Groom to 1 Bedroom suite if 10 are reserved).
Library Hotel
Boutique style, smaller hotel, serve continental breakfast, great rooftop bar (open till midnight) and garden area, reading room with piano on 2nd floor, each floor has a different theme, moderate size rooms, no rooms have two beds. They will block up to 20 rooms until 1 month before, $349 1 Full Bed Petite Room, $459 1 Queen Bed Deluxe Queen Room, $559 1 Queen/King and pull out sofa , no rooms have 2 beds except pull out in Jr Suites (upgrade for bride and groom if 8 are reserved and mother of bride, includes continental buffet breakfast every morning).
Club Quarters
Only went to Midtown location, lobby area has bar with marble columns, they couldn't show a room, it is a business hotel, no real extra amenities.(they will ask you which member company you belong to, there are tons of them though) will not block rooms but will give special number for access, first come first serve basis for everyone, no upgrades for Bride and Groom at New York City Locations
